Since introducing the Galaxy Z series in 2020, Samsung has typically hosted its second Galaxy Unpacked event in August. However, the company shifted this pattern last year by unveiling the Galaxy Fold5 and Galaxy Flip5 on July 26.

Galaxy Z Fold6:

This year, Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6 on July 10 in Paris. This date was first reported by Samsung tracker Sammobile in April, which noted the strategic timing with Paris hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics later that month. Samsung, a major sponsor of the Olympics, seems to be leveraging this significant event for its product launch.

Korean news outlet The Chosun Daily confirmed the date and location for the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6 launch, indicating that Samsung aims to benefit from the Olympic buzz, with the games starting on July 26.

The new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6 models are expected to be lighter and thinner than their predecessors. They will also feature Galaxy AI technology, similar to the Galaxy S24 series released in January. However, it remains unclear whether Samsung will introduce new AI functionalities or enhance existing ones.

In addition to the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Flip6, Samsung is anticipated to reveal the Galaxy Ring, a smart ring designed to measure health metrics. First teased at the January Galaxy Unpacked event and showcased at the Mobile World Congress in February, the Galaxy Ring will come in nine sizes and three color options: ceramic black, platinum silver, and gold.

The event is also likely to see the debut of the Galaxy Watch7 and a new high-end Galaxy Watch model intended for outdoor activities, which could be the successor to the Galaxy Watch5 Pro launched in 2023.

Furthermore, The Chosun Daily reported that the Galaxy Buds 3 will be introduced with a significant redesign resembling Apple’s AirPods. This marks the first major design update for the TWS buds since their initial release in 2019.
