Samsung Galaxy A35: Full Specs and Features

Samsung has formally introduced the Samsung Galaxy A35 in the United States. While the phone has not yet appeared in the online store at the time of this writing, the official announcement has been made, and the device is expected to appear on Samsung’s e-shop shortly alongside the existing Galaxy A15 and A25 models.

Samsung Galaxy A35:

The Galaxy A35 is positioned as a mid-range phone with a higher price tag but comes equipped with an impressive array of features. Notably, it is Samsung’s most affordable A-series phone to feature an IP rating for dust and water resistance, specifically rated at IP67.

In terms of construction, the Samsung Galaxy A35 sports a plastic frame complemented by a glass rear panel and Gorilla Glass Victus+ for screen protection. The device showcases an Infinity-O display spanning 6.6 inches diagonally, boasting a resolution of 2340 x 1080, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits thanks to Vision Booster technology.

The Galaxy A35 offers enhanced Nightography and Night Portrait mode capabilities for nighttime photography enthusiasts. The camera setup supports 12-bit HDR and features both optical image stabilization (OIS) and video digital image stabilization (VDIS).

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP primary camera with PDAF and OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies. The device supports recording 4K@30fps videos with both the front and rear cameras.

Additional specifications include expandable storage, an under-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Android 14 with One UI 6.1 (excluding Galaxy AI), and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging. Moreover, the Galaxy A35 benefits from the Samsung Knox Vault, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious business users.

While the Galaxy A25 utilizes the Exynos 1280 chip, the Galaxy A35 boasts the Exynos 1380 SoC used in last year’s Galaxy A54, providing superior performance to the Exynos 1280.

For the U.S. market, Samsung is initially offering the Galaxy A35 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. However, additional memory configurations may be introduced later.

The Galaxy A35 is priced at $399 in the USA. For a limited period, customers can take advantage of a bundled offer that includes the Galaxy Buds FE with a 30% discount on the wireless earbuds. The phone is available in two color options: Awesome Lilac and Awesome Navy.
