Samsung’s latest innovation in wearable technology, the Samsung Galaxy Ring, has generated considerable buzz since its initial teaser at the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this year. The South Korean tech giant further showcased the Samsung Galaxy Ring at MWC 2024, providing more insights into its features. Anticipated to launch officially in July, new leaks regarding its price and availability have surfaced online. Additionally, well-known tipster Evan Blass has recently disclosed details about the Samsung Galaxy Ring‘s delivery process.
Samsung Galaxy Ring:
According to Blass, the Samsung Galaxy Ring purchase process involves two main options for delivery. Customers who already know their ring size can simply select it and place an order. For those unsure of their size, Samsung will provide a sizing kit. This kit includes sample rings based on US standard sizing, allowing users to determine their correct size before placing an order via the “My Order” page. Once the size is confirmed, customers will receive an email confirmation and Samsung will proceed with the delivery.
Blass shared an official-looking image that appears to be from Samsung’s online ordering page, illustrating this process. The image suggests a seamless and customer-friendly approach to ensuring the Samsung Galaxy Ring fits perfectly.
In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Ring is expected to be priced at Rs. 35,000 in India. In the United States, the price range is predicted to be between $300 and $350 (approximately Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000). Samsung might also offer an optional subscription service alongside the wearable, with the subscription costing less than $10 per month (approximately Rs. 800).
The Samsung Galaxy Ring was first teased in January at the Galaxy Unpacked event, followed by a detailed showcase in February at MWC. The wearable is expected to be officially unveiled at the upcoming Unpacked event. Available in three color options—black, gold, and silver—the Samsung Galaxy Ring will integrate seamlessly with the Samsung Health platform. It is likely to feature a heart rate sensor, SpO2 (blood oxygen) sensor, sleep tracker, and more, offering a comprehensive health tracking experience.
With its blend of advanced health monitoring features and stylish design, the Samsung Galaxy Ring is set to be a significant addition to Samsung’s wearable lineup, catering to tech enthusiasts and health-conscious users alike.
