Samsung Health just got a little better with the new One UI 7.0 update. While One UI 7.0 is still in its beta phase and limited to Galaxy S24 series users in select regions, it’s already giving us a glimpse of what’s to come. Among the noticeable updates, Samsung Health has undergone subtle but meaningful design tweaks.

Introducing the Mood Check-in Feature

Thanks to a tip from @TechA7mad on X (formerly Twitter), we now know about some of the updates to Samsung Health in One UI 7.0. The app now features a dedicated Mindfulness section that combines functionality with wellness. This section includes three tools: Breathing Exercises, Meditation, and the new Mood Check-in feature.

If you’ve been using Samsung Health, you might already be familiar with the Breathing Exercises tool. It’s been around for a while, but in One UI 7.0, it takes center stage as part of a more holistic approach to mindfulness. Meditation, another feature in this section, lets you set aside time for focused relaxation. But the real star here is the Mood Check-in feature. This tool allows you to log your mood at any given moment, helping you track your emotional well-being over time.

Refined Stress Management Tools

The Stress section of the app has also received a small yet impactful visual change. Previously, the stress scale featured colors that blended seamlessly from blue to orange. Now, in One UI 7.0, the scale separates these colors with distinct borders, making it easier to interpret your stress levels at a glance.

What’s Next for One UI 7.0?

As this is still a beta version, Samsung might introduce further refinements to Samsung Health in subsequent updates. These small but thoughtful changes hint at the company’s commitment to delivering a more personalized and user-friendly experience.

Whether you’re already a fan of Samsung Health or just exploring its features, these updates make it clear that Samsung is putting more focus on mental and emotional well-being. It’ll be exciting to see how these changes evolve in the final release of One UI 7.0.
