One UI 6.1 Update For Galaxy F23 in India
The One UI 6.1 update, now available for the Galaxy F23 in India, comes with firmware version E236BXXU6EXE5. It includes the May 2024 security patch, addressing 45 security vulnerabilities. This substantial update is approximately 2.2GB in size, so it is recommended to download it over a Wi-Fi network to avoid exhausting your mobile data.
Galaxy F23 owners in India can check for the update by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Alternatively, users can wait for the firmware to appear in the database and manually flash it using a Windows PC and the Odin tool.
Samsung initially launched the Galaxy F23 in early 2022 with Android 12. It received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update in late 2022 and the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update in late 2023. The device is expected to receive the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update later this year.
