The latest leak on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 reveals some intriguing details about its design changes. According to leaked images of screen protectors, it seems Samsung is making significant alterations to the outer display compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 is anticipated to launch within the next few months with notable improvements. Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which features a narrow cover screen with rounded corners, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to sport a wider display with sharper corners. The leaked image showcases two screen protectors side by side—one for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the other presumably for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The dimensions reveal that the outer screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be slightly wider at 60.2mm compared to 57.4mm on its predecessor. This wider aspect ratio indicates a more expansive viewing experience.

Another noticeable change is the edges of the cover screens. While the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has rounded corners, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 appears to feature sharper edges, similar to those seen on the flagship Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Additionally, the screen protector suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will boast thinner bezels at the top and bottom.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is rumored to retain the same battery capacity as the Galaxy Z Fold 5, featuring a 4,400mAh battery with 25W charging support. The device is expected to come in three color options: dark blue, light pink, and silver. Under the hood, it could house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and include a titanium chassis for durability.
