Samsung Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS

Samsung Galaxy Series has launched 2 mobile phone named as Samsung Galaxy y and Samsung Galaxy Y pro. Samsung Galaxy Y Pro is a decently sized device with dimensions of 110.8 x 63.5 x 11.5 mm, that goes to say its a fairly sleek device that can easily slide in your pockets despite its bigger width which is quite unavoidable on most of the Qwerty phones, it feels plastiky and bit cheap as well, but its just what you can expect from an entry level model. Features 2.6 inch TFT display with the resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, thankfully Samsung managed to make it a capacitive display and display is quite responsive to use and we notice no lag issues what so ever. Just below the display is the optical track pad and other default android buttons for Back, search, Home and Apps. Below it is the Full qwerty keypad, its a chiclet styled keypad so there is enough space between two keys and keys have nice feedback to them and has nice flow to it while using, should be pretty comfortable to use for those with small and medium sized fingers and those with big fingers might little difficult to get used to the keypad on this device. But on other hand Samsung galaxy Y sports a 3.0 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. This may not be a 4.3 Super AMOLED Plus touch screen like that on the S2. However, it does offer enough room for tapping, swiping, and flicking. It will also allow you to enjoy more from your multi-media. Samsung Galaxy Y Pro has a 3MP camera which can record videos in QVGA format at 24 fps and it does a decent job with it, camera quality is not that great and its not so bad either, there is no flash support which goes to say that this camera is pretty useless under dark conditions. Connectivity options includes Wifi, Bluetooth v3.0, EDGE, GPRS, HSPA, UMTS, microUSB v2.0, 3.5 mm headphone jack. Built in sensors includes Accelerometer and compass. It has a built in memory of 160 MB which can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. Comes with 1200 mAh battery which supports for up to 7.6 hours of talktime and 363 hours of standby time. But on other side The Samsung Galaxy Y sports a 2 megapixel camera. It can capture images at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. It can record videos in QVGA-quality at 15 frames per second. It may not sport an 8 megapixel camera like the S2. However, it adequately gets the job done. The phone packs an 832 MHz single-core processor under the hood. This packs enough processing power for you to enjoy more from sufficient performance. Compared to other phones of its class, it still more powerful. It is powerful enough to run apps and OS applications. Both mobile has runs on very demandable Android 2.3 Gingerbread Os and both mobile price is not available in market .
