Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 is ready for new MIUI 2.3.23 Custom ROM Firmware. This firmware is generally based on ICS Android 4.0.3. Few days ago we saw MIUI v10 2.3.16 Rom for Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 but now we have the latest one with improved features built in.This custom ROM firmware bundles all the famous features like SONY’s Bravia Engine, Sony XCloud, beats Audio and Apps to SD features which are being lovable by Android Users. Pre Requisites for installing MIUI 2.3.23 Custom for Galaxy SL I9003:

1. Backup essential data from your phone. Use apps like Titanium backup, contact, SMS backup.

2. Charge your phone to at least 80% to ensure that you complete the process without any power outrage.

3. Disable all the security suites installed in your computer and uninstall all antivirus tools. So as to be sure that these programs will not interfere during the process.

4. Enable USB debugging on your phone. Go to Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB Debugging. Check the USB debugging option.

5. Ensure that you are on the rooted firmware of XXKPQ and Clockmode recovery must be installed.

6. MIUI v10.2 2.3.23 Firmware Zip package download from here to your computer.

How to Update Galaxy SL I9003 with MIUI 2.3.23 Custom ROM Firmware: Step by step procedure

1. Connect your device with the computer using original USB cable.

2. Copy the above .zip file in your phone’s external SD Card. Ensure that you are placing the file on root directory.

3. Now, remove the connected phone and turn off so to entered in the recovery mode. How*- by pressing the Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button.

Note: If the phone boots in the normal mode then you need to try entering again into the recovery mode.

4. In the recovery mode, you need to select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the MIUI v10.2 2.3.23 Firmware .Zip package which is place it in the phone.

5. Wait for few minutes while the update process is complete.

6. Once the update process is complete, device will again go back to the recovery screen. In the recovery screen, select “Go Back” and then choose the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the system.

Note: If the phone refuses to show the home screen even after 5 minutes of restart, you need to then reinsert the battery. You will need to apply the update again by following the steps again from the start. Don’t forget to restore the backup which you have taken in the initial steps.
