Samsung has finally launched Galaxy S3; it is basically an upgrade version of S2. We are waiting for the specs announcement from the last month. Now it has been revealed it will have 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED Display and 8MP rear camera and lots of other thing which we would discuss in this article.
Samsung Galaxy S3 specs and features:
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS
- The phone is packing Exynos 4412 quad core processor (can only confirm this for Europe)
- 4.8-inch 720p Super AMOLED Display
- Micro sd slot
- 2100 mah battery
- 8MP camera with 1.3 front facing cam that also shoots HD
- The phone comes in 2 colors (Pebble Blue und Marble White)
- NFC enabled
- Wireless charging (EPIC)
- New partnership brings 17 million songs to Samsung Hub (aka iTunes for Sammy)
- S-Voice, which is Siri for Samsung (VERY impressive)
This would first launch in Europe on 29th May, and a June release for the US (LTE enabled). New features enabled would be.
Direct calls –If you are trying to text message someone then this feature would help you. For making the call, you just need to lift the phone towards your face or ear and the call would be dialed automatically.
S Voice – these features is in Siri for iPhone but actually it isn’t. It listens to your commands, but a very few ones. Searching using the Google search, turning the camera on, calling someone, checking the weather etc. is what all is done listening to your commands.
S Beam – The Near Field Communication transfer is taken to the next level from the standard ICS based NFC that came earlier. The tapping and phone-to-phone transfer is possible in a faster and better way.
Burst Shot (Best Photo) – 20 captures in a super-fast mode, and all are displayed at once and out of them you may select the best shot and all the other are deleted. But it is not new in Galaxy s3 because HTC One X has already got this features and even more capturing 99 pictures in the same burst mode.
