Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs Samsung Galaxy S III Comparison, Review and Features

Today we are going to discus about two super smartphones Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S III, these two phones are introduced by one of the largest Android smartphone maker company Samsung.  Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S III both are loaded with high-end features. First lets talk about Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is rumoured Smartphone, it is packed with awesome features like 5.5 inches display, Quad-core Exynos 5250 processor, 8MP camera, Android ICS OS and 1.5GB RAM. Second one is Samsung Galaxy S III which is most popular and demanded Smartphone packed with 4.8 inches display, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera, Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and Android ICS OS. We are going two compare between both phones in terms of specs, features and price.

Processor and OS:

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 upcoming Smartphone is boosted by a Quad core 1.5GHz Exynos 5250 processor with Mali-400MP GPU and other hand vs Samsung Galaxy S III phone is powered by a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 processor with Mali-400MP GPU. Here Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has better and more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S III. Now terms of OS, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is shipping with Android 4.0 ICS OS and Samsung Galaxy S III is running Android ICS upgrade version 4.0.4.

RAM and Memory:

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is coming with 1.5GB of RAM and it is also to expected come with 16GB/32GB internal memory. This Smartphone will be support up to 64GB expendable memory. Samsung Galaxy S III has 1 GB RAM and 16/32/64 GB internal storage. It is also expendable up to 64 GB microSD card. Both phones have looking same storage capacity.

Display:

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is expected to come with 5.5 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 1680×1050 pixel, Corning Gorilla Glass and TouchWiz UI v4.0 features. Other side Samsung Galaxy S III has a 4.8 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It has also Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and TouchWiz UI v4.0 glass protection features.

Camera:

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S III both are loaded with 8 MP primary camera which has 3264×2448 pixels resolution, autofocus, LED flash and  check quality. It has also Simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and image stabilization features. It is capable to 1080p@30fps video shoot with check quality. Secondary camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is unknown yet and Samsung Galaxy S III has 1.9MP front facing camera.

Connectivity:

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 connectivity features are not announced yet but we are expecting to comes with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR, NFC, microUSB v2.0 (MHL), USB On-the-go and 3G connectivity with HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps; LTE.  Other side Samsung Galaxy S III has GPRS Class 12 (4+1/3+2/2+3/1+4 slots), 32 – 48 kbps, EDGE Class 12, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, EDR, microUSB v2.0 (MHL), USB On-the-go and 3G with connectivity with HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps.

Battery:

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 battery power is unknown and Samsung Galaxy S III has Standard Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery which is provided Up to 590 h (2G) / Up to 790 h (3G) standby time and Up to 21 h 40 min (2G) / Up to 11 h 40 min (3G) talk time.

Price:

The price of Samsung Galaxy Note is not officially announced yet but it’s expected at cost $796.29 and the price of Samsung Galaxy S III is $744. 44.
