Samsung has recently lunched its two Galaxy version Smartphones known as Samsung Galaxy I9100 and I9100G. These phones look like same as there model name but actually they are different from each other. lets check out both phones specs and features and compare them one on one.
Hardware:
Galaxy S II GT I9100 has 1.2 Ghz Exynos SoC processor with ARM Mali 400 MP GPU where as Galaxy S II GT I9100G has 1.2 Ghz OMAP 4430 SoC processor with PowerVR SGX 540 at 304 GPU. Since I have seen game will automatically be optimized for the OMAP 4460 processor, which is not the case on the Exynos. so I will definitely go for Galaxy S II GT I9100 in this matter.
Display:
As talking about the display Samsung Galaxy S II GT I9100 has got 4.3 Inches, Super AMOLED Plus Capacitive Touchscreen and 16M Colors where as Samsung Galaxy S II GT I9100g has got same screen size and display quality. I9100g has got WVGA, Super AMOLED Plus Capacitive Touchscreen.
So nothing to compare on display matter both are same.
Memory:
Galaxy S II GT I9100 has got 16GB/32GB internal storage with 1 GB RAM where as Galaxy S II GT I9100 g has got same 16GB/32GB internal storage with 1 GB RAM. Both can be expanded upto 32GB via Micro SD Card.
Camera:
Both sets have got same features like 8.0 MP Auto Focus Camera (3264×2448 Pixels) resolution With LED Flash and 2.0 MP Front Camera (1600×1200 Pixels) resolution for video calling.
Battery:
Both the phones go with same specifications in the battery Backup. The Galaxy S II GT I9100G phone comes with better battery than the normal Galaxy S II phone. This is due to heavy load and heating in Galaxy phone eats much of the battery. But without heating, the battery life will remain the same in both the phones.
Verdict:
Both phones are almost same configuration. There is no way to distinguish between I9100 handset and the I9100G handset until you check out the phone specifications by going through Settings > About phone. The price of Galaxy S II GT I9100G is not been announced yet, it is also the main reason that we cannot distinguish the phones.
