Apple ‘s new upcoming tab iPad 3 which will begin shipping from March 19. On the other hand , Samsung has also stretched its Galaxy lineup with Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both tablet are close competitor of each other.

Processor:
The new New iPad 3 is powered by 1GHz dual core processor but it features the company’s new A5X chipset with a quad core graphics processing unit built in. Other hand Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is power by 1.4 GHz dual core processor which is greater and more powerful than New iPad 3.
Display:
Apple has gone all out to upgrade its tablet display quality on the iPad 3. The company has managed to bring its famed Retina technology to the bigger tablet screen size which means a 1536×2048 pixel resolution at 264ppi for some of the clearest visuals you’ll see on a near-10-inch device. Samsung’s ability to push out some amazing screen technology on phones it still hasn’t broken through on tablet tech and for the meantime that means it keeps rolling out much the same mediocre configuration. The result is that the Galaxy Note 10.1 uses a PLS TFT capacitive display with a 1280×800 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 149 pixels-per-inch (ppi).
Camera:

OS:
The third generation iPad runs on iOS 5.1, which is an improvised version of iOS 5 with few more added features like cloud integration, improved Twitter integration, iPhoto, etc. Galaxy Note 10.1 runs on the latest Android OS v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Apple’s mobile platform is better for business users but Android platform offers more customization. So, it’s a draw here.

The price of New iPad 3 is $640 and the price of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is $700.
