How to Root your Samsung Galaxy S GT I9000 in ICS 4.0.3 Firmware:

Steps to do:
Step1. After downloading the above file you need to connect your mobile through your PC.
Step2. Copy the Super user zip file on the Root folder of your Micro SD card.
Step3. Now you need to disconnect the phone.
Step4. After disconnecting the phone turn OFF the phone and go to Recovery Mode.
How- Enter by pressing Volume UP + Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. This will take you in Recovery Mode.

Step5. In the recovery mode Install the Zip file which you have copied on your SD card, with the help of Volume keys and by pressing the Power button select “install zip from SD card” > “choose zip from SD card” and then select the file which is named as “ROOTINGPACKAGE_SGS_4.0.3”.
Step6. Wait till 15mins for that Rooting Kernel is successfully updated.
Step7. After this again go to Recovery Mode by the same process and now select “Wipe data/factory reset”, “Wipe Cache partition” Same as the above.
Step8.After that select the option of “reboot system now” as this will clear out all the data which is there in the cache if any present in your phone.
Step8. After this, select “Go Back ” and select “reboot system now” which will reboot the phone.
Step9. Please note that rebooting your phone may take up to 10 minutes as it’s a first boot after rooting.
