How to root Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 P7310 on Icecream Sandwich:

Requirements:
- Download Samsung Drivers for your Tab 8.9 P7310 device
- Download Rooting Zip File Package
- Turn off all types of security programmers like antivirus and firewall.
- Enable USB Debugging mode on your Tab. How*- by Go to “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. The USB Debugging option should be ticked in your tab.
Procedure:
1. Now connect the device to the computer and copy the downloaded zip package to your device.
2. After copying, turn off the tab so as to enter the tab in the recovery mode.
3. The recovery mode in tab can be entered by holding the Volume down button + Press the power button for 15 seconds till you see the two icons in your tab. Release the buttons and with the help of Volume buttons, select “Recovery Mode” and wait till the recovery mode is shown up.
4. With the help of Volume Key, you need to select “apply zip from SD Card” after which you need to select the file which you have copied to the SD card.
5. It will take around 5 – 10 minutes for finishing the rooting process.
6. Once the rooting process is completed, it will automatically get restarted.
7. If it’s back to the recovery screen, select “Go Back” and then select “reboot system now”.
8. After rooting procedure is complete, you now need to find an app called superuser.
9. just in case if the device doesn’t have this app you will have to download it from Android Market Place.

i need your help. My P7310 wont boot into recovery mode.
Everytime when i choose the recovery mode, it automaticall shut down. Being said, i can enter downloading mode but not the other options where i can choose the root files store in my tablets.
