Steps to install ICS Android 4.0.1 Alpha 1 Build on Galaxy Tab:

  1. Download the latest version of Android 4.0.1 ROM ICS for the Galaxy Tab at the XDA forum thread. XDA forum thread. The developers will release the ROM will be updated each time a problem solved or will include new features.
  2. Connect your computer and original Galaxy Tab to mount external microSD card.
  3. Copy the downloaded ROM ICS on the SDCard.
  4. Restart the device in recovery mode.
  5. Perform a backup and then delete the data.
  6. Now go to the main menu and select Install from zip SDCard -> Choose zip SDCard. Browse and select the ROM files previously transferred to ICS zip SDCard.
  7. Let the ICS run across ROMs installed on the Galaxy Tab
  8. Restart the device.
